Education
We work with organizations implementing projects and interventions in the education sector across Africa. We undertake research, project evaluations as well as offer advisory services to government agencies , civil society groups that work towards advancing education, tackling child labor as well as empowerment of women and girls. We have supported CAMFED, RAINS Ghana, ChildFund International, KOICA, Safaricom Foundation currently implementing Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP) among other programmes. Some of the project seeks to empower young people with skills to find formal and decent employment or in setting up their businesses.
Other projects provide young girls with non-formal education and skills training as a direct response to the high illiteracy and unemployment rate.
Despite the fact that most children worldwide get the opportunity to go to school and most countries have improved access to basic education, hundreds of millions of children still don't go to school, affecting enrolment and attendance. There is a niche in aligning education content/quality, access, and affordability.
